A wonderful detached, two bedroomed cottage, overlooking The River Wye, and valley in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB).

The detached cottage, C1760, has two bedrooms and will sleep up to 4 people.
​
There are two reception rooms, a well equipped kitchen, family bathroom, two bedrooms and a middle landing.
​
It is set in an acre of sloped woodland and sloped garden, with a lovely patio area right outside the front door, with spectacular views over the valley. There is also a flat lawned area with a picnic bench.

The cottage, hidden away on the side of the valley, was clean, welcoming and had everything we needed. The views were superb day and night, worth getting up at dawn to see the mist in the valley and in the night to see the Milkyway. Great gas BBQ which we made full use of. Very comfortable. Lots of steps so you do need to be reasonably fit and able. Loved it.

We cannot stress enough how wonderful this cottage is, the views are stunning.
The drive up was challenging but entertaining. The cottage has everything you would need plus more. It was clean and the welcome pack was such a nice touch.
The steps down to the cottage are steep (but we were fully informed and knew what to expect) and one of our party was on crutches but still managed them, we just went slower and enjoyed the woodland on the way (and burnt off a few calories!). Our dogs were in heaven. The locals were very friendly everywhere we went. Precious memories were made and we did not want to leave. Thank you!

We are just back from a lovely few days away at the cot, & already wishing we were back! The peace & quiet was so nice, it would be easy to imagine you were the only people on earth whilst at the house. The cottage was lovely, had everything that we needed, everything was clean & tidy.
The views were stunning. Breakfast on the patio surrounded by rolling hills was idyllic. You do need to be reasonably fit to manage the stairs outside, but we were made well aware of this before booking. Symonds Yat Rock is a must see when visiting the area- the views were beautiful!
